      Reserve your place with a £350 deposit. Full course fees are £1400.

      All professional courses at Narcissus are commercially driven. With the 1 week Introduction we focus on developing the technical skills and creative confidence to get you started on the route to changing your life with a new career as a professional florist working within the industry.

      This practical hands-on course will run over 1 full week starting Monday 9th until Friday 13th November, between 10am and 4pm daily, 

      at our Flower School (15 East Norton Place). All materials, flowers and a professional florist's tool kit will be supplied.

      Refreshments will be available throughout the day and a 45 minute break for lunchtime.

      Students will benefit from expert demonstrations and one to one tuition, careers advice, as well as direct access to our resourceful team and ongoing support from our dedicated tutors during the course and beyond. 

      The curriculum will include the following topics;

      The Hand-Tied Bouquet - Spiralling techniques to achieve different looks with a wide range of flowers. 

      Essential Basic Theory - From flower conditioning to seasonality and health and safety.  

      Wedding and Event Floristry - We will cover technical wiring, oasis work and all aspects of exciting wedding and event floristry. From basic bridal bouquets, buttonholes and corsages, flowers for the hair, centrepieces and creative vase work.

      Funeral and Sympathy Flowers - This is a sensitive and important part of the florists job.

      The total fees for this course are £1400. The remaining fees are due 2 weeks before the start of your course and can be paid by BACS or over the phone with a member of our team. You will be sent the full outline of your course once you have paid in full. 

      These classes are being conducted in a socially distanced manner to adhere to the restrictions necessary due to COVID. Read up about the measures we have in place for your safety and the safety of our staff.
