Concrete & Blooms: A Two Part Making Experience, June-July 2020
New for 2020 - we have joined up with local ceramic artist, Studio Emma, to bring a two part making experience where we invite you not only to make your own bespoke concrete vase, but also how to expertly fill it with beautiful seasonal flowers.
This class is suitable for beginners and those who love to really get hands on. Taking place one week apart to allow your vessels to properly dry; Emma will guide you on how create one of her signature concrete vessels using special moulds. (These are a custom shape she has created especially for Narcissus Flower School meaning your vase will be one of a kind!)
In the second week, students will join us at the flower school for a demonstration and guided practical session to create bold vase arrangements to perfectly complement your concrete vessels.
The Concrete & Blooms workshops will take place on Wednesday 24th or Thursday 25th June, followed by Thursday 2nd July between 6.30pm until 8pm at Emma's Meadowbank studio and our beautiful school premises (15 East Norton Place, EH7 5DR) respectively.
All flowers and materials are included as are refreshments and some lovely nibbles at the Flower School!
Please select which date you would like to do the vase-making half of the workshop as this will be done over two days in smaller classes of 6. The second half of the workshop will see both groups join us on the same date.
