We take our Health & Safety responsibilities seriously at our premises and we have conducted a COVID-19 risk assessment at both our shop and Flower School.

We have put the following measures in place to ensure the safety of our students and staff.

We have reduced the number of students that attend our classes to allow for appropriate distancing between students and tutors. Our classroom has been reconfigured to minimise the need for movement through the space while classes are in session.

To ensure your experience at the Flower School is as close to the fun learning atmosphere we are known for, our tutor will be presenting the class with a face shield allowing for perfect audibility. Each student will be provided with a face mask which must be worn during their class, or if you prefer to bring your own mask you are most welcome to do so. Hand-sanitiser will be available at stations around the school. Students will be required to either wash their hands or sanitise when entering the Flower School premises.

Each student will also be provided with their own tools and apron for the duration of their class. The school will be cleaned throughout the day and extensively cleaned at the end of every working day.

As per NHS guidance: If you live alone or are staying in Edinburgh by yourself, you should stay at home for 7 days from when you started to feel unwell. If you live with others or you are the first in the household to feel unwell, then you must stay at home for 7 days, but all other household members who remain well must stay at home and not leave the house for 14 days. The 14-day period starts from the day when the first person in the house became ill. Read further guidance about self-isolating on the UK Government website here.

Please do not hesitate to contact us by emailing us at or call us on 0131 478 7447 if you have any further questions or concerns.

We look forward to welcoming you to our school.
