A Foraging Day Out, Saturday 31st August 2019
An Autumn foraging adventure awaits! Don your boots and mitts and into the woods we go on an easy, guided stroll to find and collect floral goodies from nature's treasure trove to use in a bountiful arrangement.
We will discuss sustainable foraging practices as well as which special Autumnal offerings we like to keep an eye out for at this time of year... ornamental branches covered in cones, browning ferns and berries galore - just waiting to be created into your latest masterpiece!
A practical session will follow in the grounds of Dalkeith Palace, where we will guide you on how best to use your foraged bits and bobs, supplemented with fresh, seasonal flowers and foliage. This is a foam free class.
This class is suitable for beginners as well as those with some floristry experience. All tools and materials are provided and you will, of course, be taking your flowers and gathered goods home with you!
This class runs from 10 am until 4pm on Saturday 31st August 2019 at Dalkeith Country Park. A lovely lunch is provided as well as tea, coffee and refreshments throughout the day.
If you would like to buy this class as a gift, you may purchase a Narcissus Flower School Gift Voucher.
